History
Clayhill began in 1965 when John Hill and Clayton Peterson formed their
partnership in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The new business catered to the growing
needs of Midwest manufacturers, supplying Chicago Pneumatic tools, compressors,
parts, and service.
After almost 30 years
of steady growth, the company was purchased by Robert Simmer and Mark Bruns, who
shifted the focus of the business to the compressors and drying equipment of
Atlas Copco, the world leader in compressed air equipment.
The organization moved from Minneapolis to St.
Paul, Minnesota in 2000, opening a 30,000 square foot state-of-the art office
and warehouse facility, allowing for growth of a business which serves the five
states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North, and South Dakota.
Today Clayhill provides the latest in compressed
and process vacuum equipment. Clayhill takes pride in, and is keenly focused on,
providing the most energy efficient, reliable, and properly applied technologies
availableevery time, without exception.
